More of your time on the mission. Less on the admin.
Technology help for non-profits across Montgomery County, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia: sized and priced for organizations that count every dollar.
Your team didn’t sign up to reconcile donor spreadsheets, rebuild the same grant report every quarter, or chase down who thanked which donor. WireShout takes the administrative weight off your staff so more of your capacity goes where it was meant to go.
No sales pitch. Just an honest look at where your time is going.
We know how this actually works
Non-profit tech problems don’t look like corporate technology problems. They look like this:
- Donor information lives in three places: The giving platform, a spreadsheet, and someone’s inbox: and none of them agree.
- Grant reporting means starting over: Every funder wants different numbers in a different format, and pulling them together takes days you don’t have.
- Thank-yous go out late, or not at all: Not because anyone forgot the importance, but because the person responsible is also running the program.
- Volunteer coordination is a group text and a prayer: Sign-ups, reminders, and hours tracking all live in different tools.
- The board wants a dashboard: You want a night off.
- Staff turnover takes knowledge with it: When the one person who knew how the database worked leaves, the process leaves too.
- Everything has to be justified as overhead: So technology improvements get postponed year after year, even when they’d free up real capacity.
You’re not behind. You’re doing a lot with a little, which is exactly the problem worth solving.
Where we help
Get your donor data into one place
We connect your giving platform, email tool, and donor records so information flows automatically instead of being retyped. One accurate list, one place to look, no more reconciling exports.
Make reporting take minutes instead of days
Grant reports, board packets, and year-end summaries built from live data. Set the format once; generate it whenever you need it.
Automate the follow-through
Donation receipts and thank-yous that go out the same day. Lapsed-donor reminders that trigger on their own. Event confirmations, volunteer reminders, and post-event surveys handled without anyone remembering to press send.
Stretch the technology budget
Non-profits qualify for discounts and grants that most organizations never claim: including free and heavily discounted software through TechSoup, non-profit pricing on major platforms like HubSpot, and the Google Ad Grant, which provides eligible organizations with in-kind search advertising every month. We help you find what you qualify for and actually set it up.
Keep sensitive information safe
Donor records, client data, and staff files handled with practical, affordable security, not an enterprise compliance program you’ll never maintain.
Websites and hosting you can count on
Fast, secure, cloud-native hosting with donation forms, event sign-ups, and email tools that connect to the systems you already use. Updates and redesigns handled by people who answer the phone.
Yes, we use AI. Carefully, and only where it helps.
AI is genuinely useful for the work that eats non-profit staff time: drafting donor thank-yous and appeal letters for a human to review, summarizing program data, turning meeting notes into board-ready updates, and pulling first drafts of grant narratives together.
It is not a replacement for your voice, your judgment, or your relationships: and we won’t pretend otherwise. We’ll show you exactly where AI is doing the work, exactly where your donor data goes, and we won’t set up anything your team isn’t comfortable explaining to a funder or a board member.
How it works
1. A free conversation: No jargon and no obligation. You tell us where your team’s hours are going; we tell you honestly what’s worth changing and what isn’t.
2. A small first project: We start with one bottleneck and fix it, at a fixed price you approve before work begins. You see real results before committing to anything larger.
3. Support that fits your budget: Some organizations need one project a year. Others want us on call. Both are fine, no long contracts either way.
Local partners, not a ticket queue
WireShout is made in Maryland and works with non-profits throughout Rockville, Silver Spring, Bethesda, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia communities like Tysons and Alexandria, in person or remotely. Remote support is available for organizations anywhere.
“After numerous missed deadlines and shoddy work, the [professionals] who worked there admitted that they were not able to do what they had said they would… In under two weeks Jason was able to help finish the project.”
– Executive Director, NYRA
Frequently asked questions
Do you offer non-profit pricing? Yes. We scope projects to non-profit budgets and will always tell you when a free or discounted option exists instead of a paid one, including software your organization may qualify for at no cost.
We have almost no technology budget. Is this still worth a call? Yes, and the call is free. Some of the most valuable things we do for non-profits cost nothing but setup time, claiming grant software, turning on features you’re already paying for, or eliminating a duplicate subscription.
Do we have to switch our donor database? Usually not. Our first instinct is to make what you already have work better. If a change genuinely is the right call, we’ll explain why and what it would take.
Nobody on our staff is technical. Is that a problem? Not at all. That’s most of the organizations we work with. We explain things in plain language and build systems that keep running after we’ve stepped back.
How do you handle donor and client data? Carefully. We use reputable tools with proper protections, we document where your data lives, and we’ll walk your team or board through it if that’s helpful.
Do you work with non-profits outside the DC area? Yes. We’re based in Montgomery County, Maryland and meet local organizations in person if that’s preferable, but nearly all of our work can be done remotely.
