Practical automation and IT help for landscapers, contractors, salons, cleaners, and local shops across the DMV.
You started your business to do great work, not to spend your evenings retyping invoices, chasing quotes, and returning voicemails. WireShout builds simple, affordable automations that take the repetitive stuff off your plate.
No pitch, no pressure. Just a conversation about what’s eating your time.

Run your business, not your back office.
Any of these sound familiar?
- You type the same customer information into two or three different places: your calendar, your invoicing app, a spreadsheet somewhere.
- Quotes take days or weeks to go out, and some jobs slip away while the estimate sits half-finished.
- Customers call to ask “when is your crew arriving?” because nobody had time to text them.
- You know you should be asking happy customers for Google reviews, but it never happens.
- Your website says one thing, your inventory says another, and reconciling them is a weekend project.
- Missed calls turn into missed jobs.
None of this means anything is wrong with your business. It means your business grew faster than your paperwork systems did. That’s fixable, and usually faster and cheaper than you’d expect.
What this looks like in real businesses
Every business is different, so we don’t sell packages, we solve your specific bottleneck. Here’s the kind of work we do:
For landscaping and lawn care companies
A customer fills out a short job request form on your website. Our automation turns it into a calendar invite when the next person on your team is available to visit to assess their property. Once you’ve got the information, a formatted quote gets generated, drops it in your inbox for a 30-second review, and sends it to the customer the same day with options to accept and pay immediately, with an automatic follow-up if they haven’t responded in three days.
For contractors and home services
Your scheduling system automatically texts customers the morning of their appointment and again when your tech is en route. Fewer “where are you?” calls, fewer no-shows, and a customer experience that feels bigger than your headcount.
For retail shops
Your point-of-sale inventory syncs with your website automatically, so you’re never selling something online that walked out the door an hour ago, and never hand-updating product listings on a Sunday night.
For salons, studios, and appointment-based businesses
When an appointment wraps up, a thank-you text goes out with a direct link to leave a Google review. Reviews accumulate on autopilot, and your local search ranking climbs with them.
For businesses that need their website working harder
Your website should generate leads, not just sit there. We build and maintain WordPress sites, fix the things that have been broken for months, and connect your site to the same booking, inventory, and CRM tools everything else runs on, so a form submission on your site turns into a calendar hold or a quote automatically, instead of an email nobody sees.
For everyone
Invoices generated from completed jobs instead of typed from scratch. Payment reminders that send themselves. Customer records that live in one place instead of five.
If your bottleneck isn’t on this list, that’s fine: it’s still automatable. Tell us about it, and lets come up with a solution!
You can use AI, and effectively too
The same AI and automation tools that big companies use are now practical for a six-person crew or a two-chair salon, if someone sets them up right. That’s our job. We pick tools that fit your budget, connect them to what you already use, and make sure the whole thing runs without you thinking about it.
You don’t need new software you’ll never open. You don’t need a technology degree. You need the boring parts of your day to handle themselves.
How We Work
- A free conversation: Thirty minutes, no jargon. You tell us how you already work and where your time goes; we tell you honestly what’s worth automating and what isn’t.
- A small pilot: We start with one bottleneck, usually the most annoying one, and fix it. You see real results before committing to anything bigger. No long contracts.
- Ongoing support, if and when you want it: Some clients hand us one project and we’re done. Others have us keep improving things month after month. Either way works.
Local help, from people who answer the phone
WireShout is proudly made in Maryland and works with businesses across the DMV, including: Rockville, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Silver Spring, Bethesda, Arlington, Tysons, Alexandria, and the greater DC metro area, in person or remotely.
What does this cost?
Less than you’re probably guessing. Most pilot projects are a fixed, quoted price, you’ll know the number before we start, and we don’t begin work you haven’t approved. The free intro call costs exactly nothing, and if automation isn’t the right answer for your situation, we’ll tell you that too, and give you solutions that fit where your processes already are at.
Frequently asked questions
How much does automation cost for a small business? Most of our pilot projects for local service businesses are fixed-price and scoped in the hundreds-to-low-thousands range, not enterprise pricing. You get a quote after the free intro call, before any work begins.
Do I need to buy new software? Usually not, and when it is the answer, especially when something is clearly not working, we’ll make it clear as to what amount of time, and thus money, you’ll save another way. Most of the time we connect the tools you already use: your calendar, invoicing app, point of sale, or website. When new software genuinely is the answer, we recommend affordable options and set them up for you.
Can you help with our website too? Yes! Hosting, domains, ongoing improvements, and connecting your site to the tools you already use for scheduling, invoicing, or inventory. If your site needs a refresh or just needs to talk to your other systems, that’s part of what we do.
I’m not technical. Is that a problem? Not at all, most of our clients aren’t. We explain everything in plain language, and the automations we build are designed to run without your attention.
Do you work with businesses outside of Maryland? Yes! We’re based in Montgomery County and serve the DC area in person, but almost everything we do works remotely, so we support businesses well beyond the region.
What if the automation breaks? We stand behind our work. Pilot projects include a support window, and ongoing support plans are available if you want a longer-term safety net.
Is AI safe to use with my customer data? We take that seriously. We only use reputable tools with proper data protections, we’ll walk you through where your data goes, and we never set up anything you’re not comfortable with.

The paperwork isn’t going to automate itself, but we will.
